Futurpreneur Canada is the only national, non-profit organization that provides financing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39 for the last 2 decades. Their internationally recognized mentoring program hand matches young entrepreneurs with a business expert from a network of more than 2,800 volunteer mentors.


FrontFundr uses today’s technology to enable entrepreneurs to raise money from a much larger investor community. It provides an opportunity for seasoned investors and the wider public to come together to directly drive innovation, entrepreneurship and exercise positive influence on businesses they would like to see succeed.

NRC Concierge

Concierge is a Government of Canada program that provides a single access point where small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can find high-quality, timely advice to help them innovate and accelerate their growth. Developed, implemented and operated by the National Research Council of Canada’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC‑IRAP) in collaboration with federal and provincial partners, Concierge improves innovation and economic opportunities for SMEs by helping them navigate the available innovation resources and support programs. By combining online, phone and in-person services, it addresses the individual needs of SME clients.

New Ventures BC

New Ventures BC is passionate about helping early stage tech companies grow their businesses. They run the BCIC-New Ventures Competition, the largest and longest-running tech competition in British Columbia, offering over $300,000 in cash and prizes to early-stage ventures.


Granted Consulting helps small and medium-sized businesses in Canada leverage grant funding for growth. They develop grant strategies for organizations so that Canadian grants can be accessed as they expand. They keep clients informed of new programs that they are eligible for and help them manage the application process from research to final reporting.
